PUTRAJAYA: Lembaga Tabung Haji (LTH) has declared a bonus of 6% for 2011 amounting to a total payout worth RM1.67bil.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom said in a statement yesterday that the bonus payout was a 25% increase from 2010’s amount of RM1.33bil.
“Even though LTH will be making the bonus payout amounting RM1.67bil, it is being done with caution amid a challenging global economic environment,” he said.
Jamil said the bonus payout rate was deemed competitive, given that LTH’s investment profile was limited to syariah-based investments.
He also said that LTH posted revenue of RM2.2bil in 2011, an increase of 6% from RM2.06bil a year earlier.
