Employees Provident Fund members are cautioned against unauthorised mobile software applications developed by third parties providing access to members' EPF i-Akaun.
In a statement today, EPF said the software applications were not officially sanctioned by the retirement savings fund and that it cannot guarantee its safety, security or reliability,
"We would like to reiterate that the EPF does not have any officially sanctioned or authorised Apple or Android applications.
"The safest method of accessing i-Akaun is to access it directly via myEPF website," it added. - Bernama 4 March 2011
