Singaporean women prefer to marry rich men

WOMEN from Singapore prefer to marry rich men, Sin Chew Daily reported.

Quoting a survey, the daily reported that Singaporean women also hope to find men who earn more than them.

The survey also showed that although more women are joining the workforce, they still regard family as important. They are willing to give up a career for the sake of their family.

A separate survey on men found that they reject women who are older than them.

Men between the ages of 35 and 45 prefer women who are 35 and below. The reason cited is they want the women to be able to bear children. Men between 30 and 35 years prefer women under 29, the daily added.
